Two-dimensional stained glass bell jar featuring real Blue Morpho butterfly wings and a dichroic star bevel that changes color in different light. A tear-shaped labradorite stone sits at the center of the butterfly.
Each piece is hand cut and ground, then wrapped with copper foil and soldered.
Measures at approximately 11.25" L x 9.25" W. Comes ready to hang with a loop at the top. This piece works best hung on a wall rather than a window!
These wings came from a conservation farm, which supports butterfly preservation. This butterfly lived a full life and was not harmed for the creation of this product.
Handmade and one of a kind!
NOTE: There is a crack in the center of the brown glass that occurred from high heat during the soldering process. It is barely noticeable and does not take away from the overall effect of the piece!
