Stained glass suncatcher depicting a Spanish Moon Moth in front of a black circle background. Features small crescent moons made with yellow and sparkly black glass that was fused together in a kiln.
Each piece is hand cut and ground, wrapped with copper foil, then soldered. It is then finished off with a black patina. Lead came lines the edges for a sturdy border.
Measures at approximately 11.75" wide by 11.25" tall. Comes ready to hang with a black chain attached.
Handmade and one of a kind!
NOTE: There is a tiny heat crack in one of the dark burgundy pieces of glass, though it is hardly noticeable and does not affect the integrity of the piece.
Please be aware that the solder contains lead. Handle with care.
