Tangerine Quartz Cluster

Dimensions: approximately 2" L x 1.5" W x 1" H

A small cluster of tangerine quartz crystals with deep orange tones.

Tangerine quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral of the quartz family. Most of the these crystals are found in Minas Gerais, Brazil, where they are formed when the mineral Hematite combines with water. Hematite is an ironstone that rusts in water, which then bonds to the surface of clear quartz crystals, giving the tangerine quartz its distinct orange color.
