A beautiful fluorite obelisk, with varying shades of purple and hints of green.
Fluorite is a colorful mineral composed of calcium and fluorine. Many samples of fluorite exhibit fluorescence under ultraviolet light, a property that takes its name from fluorite.
To the ancient Egyptians, an obelisk was a tower of protection and defense. The construction of the obelisk ensured that the top of the obelisk would capture the rays of both the rising and the setting sun, honoring the Egyptian sun god, Ra.
